EvoEnergy are proud to unveil their latest large-scale rooftop solar PV installation, completed for DPD in December at the end of 2016. Installed on DPD’s headquarters and distribution site in Oldbury, the 999.9 kWp array forms part of DPD’s commitment to being a carbon neutral company.
With work starting in November, the project presented a number of challenges including overcoming a 500 kWp export limitation that was imposed by Western Power. With the site also one of DPD’s busiest distribution hubs, the additional challenge was to also install the system with minimal disruption to the day-to-day operations where thousands of parcels pass through daily for National and International delivery.
In addition to working in collaboration with another brand at the forefront of their industry in terms of performance and environmental ambitions, this installation is another large-scale rooftop project that EvoEnergy can add to their impressive portfolio of commercial work.
