EvoEnergy has been named as “Installer of the Year” by the Renewable Energy Association, the voice of the renewable energy industry. EvoEnergy won the award from a shortlist of eight finalists at a ceremony at the Jumeirah Carlton Hotel in London last night.
Dr Kevin Hard, our Chief Executive Officer, said: “We are absolutely delighted to win the award.”
“We always try to work to the highest standards, and now we’ve discovered that the rest of the industry thinks we do too. The award is a reflection of just how hard everyone at EvoEnergy works. I’m proud to have such a passionate and dedicated team.”
It is a double celebration for Kevin. He has just been named the Midlands Young Entrepreneur of the Year by The Insider Business Magazine.
EvoEnergy has more than one hundred and sixty staff. It is the only solar panel installer with a network of offices across the country.
The judging panel comprised some of the most influential thinkers in the sector, including the Guardian’s Environment Editor, Damian Carrington, environmental campaigner, Tony Juniper and the Met office’s head of Climate Change Advice, Dr Vicky Pope.
Kevin added; “This is a field that is becoming more and more competitive but we are determined to stay ahead of the competition. The award is a recognition of that and means our customers can rest assured that they are dealing with the number one company in the industry.”
