Project Co-ordinator

Due to a period of sustained growth, we are currently seeking a Project Co-Ordinator to provide support to our existing Operations & Engineering team, working alongside two other Co-ordinators to support six Project Managers and our Engineering department.

About the role:

 

EvoEnergy are a leading contractor who design, build and maintain solar PV and energy storage assets as well as electrical infrastructure and EV charging systems. Due to a period of sustained growth, we are currently seeking a Project Co-Ordinator to provide support to our existing Operations & Engineering team, working alongside two other Co-ordinators to support five Project Managers and our Engineering department. The ability to multi-task is essential and the ideal candidate is resourceful, well organised and able to work using their own initiative ensure Projects run smoothly and efficiently.

 

The salary for this role is as advertised and DOE. Home working is available up to 2 days per week once the successful candidate is established and has completed training.

Key responsibilities:

 

  • Support Technical Engineers and Project Managers on projects assigned to you.
  • Capture & create minutes for project handover meetings and client meetings.
  • Update project-tracking tools and the ERP for your projects with the Technical & Project Manager’s input.
  • Arrange site surveys with external contractors.
  • Draft Construction Phase Plans and RAMS from company templates.
  • Work with project managers to prepare site packs for installations.
  • Production of Operation & Maintenance Manuals.
  • Assist the project managers with the provision of access equipment.
  • Produce Subcontract Order documents, with input from the Operations Director, Project Managers, and Finance Manager.
  • Manage company compliance documentation for company audits & ISO accreditation.
  • Onboarding of new subcontractors & Suppliers
  • Ensure site packs are returned from the site on completion and saved in project folders.
  • Assist with raising purchase orders on Sage as and when requested.
  • Support performing physical stock takes at our warehouse as and when requested annually.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Ability to multi-task successfully and time manage to support several projects at any one time.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and prioritise work accordingly.
  • Ability to understand Contractual requirements and commitments.
  • Rigorous attention to detail and process driven work practices.
  • Intermediate level Microsoft Excel.
  • Commercially astute.
  • Negotiation & sourcing skills.
  • Multi-tasking, proactive & prioritisation.
  • Willing to work hard and encourage good behaviours in others.
  • Team player, happy to back others up and contribute to joint success.
  • Honest, professional and approachable.
  • Interest in Renewable Energy and carbon reduction.
  • GCSE Maths & English or equivalent at grade C or above.

Skills Required

 

  • Some experience of Project Coordination and/or Projects Administration in a relevant industry would be beneficial
  • Experience of project documentation (Construction Phase Plans, Risk Assessments, Method Statements & Engineer Reports)
  • Previous experience in Construction, Electrical Contracting or Engineering Industries
  • Previous experience with materials lists and project requisitions.

Experience

  • Project Coordination: 1 year (preferred)
  • Construction Industry Administration: 1 year (preferred)

 

License/Certification

  • Driving Licence (preferred)

 

Salary: £25,000.00-£26,500.00 per year
