PPA
If you do not wish to utilise your cash, but want to buy renewable electricity generated on-site, save money and gain zero upfront cost green credentials, a power purchase agreement (PPA) is one of our solutions.
Subject to suitability criteria, we have a portfolio of leading energy efficiency investors willing to offer a free, fully maintained system for a 20 to 40-year lease period. You grant rights to the investor to build and maintain the renewable asset on-site and you buy the power as a preference to buying from the National Grid.
You agree to a discounted initial price and a price increase mechanism with the investor. The investor funds this via pension pots, high-net worth individuals or retail market trusts, and then takes a financial return.
Lease to Own
If you do not wish to utilise your cash, but require renewable electricity generated on-site to save money and gain zero upfront cost green credentials, a Fronius ‘Lease-to-Own’ is one of our solutions.
Subject to suitability criteria, Fronius is willing to offer a free, fully maintained system for a usually 15-year lease period.
You grant the right to Fronius to build and maintain the renewable asset on your site and you agree to a monthly repayment from your savings, designed to leave your business cash positive. At the end of the lease, the asset is gifted so you continue to enjoy future savings and carbon offsetting.
The funds come from Fronius, and so require the system to have Fronius inverters. Fronius takes a financial return.
