EvoEnergy are pleased to be informed that at this years Decentralised Energy Awards 2018 two projects that we have been involved with, Nottingham Uni: Project SCENIC (Smart Controlled Energy Networks Integrated in Communities) & GridBeyond: The world’s first hybrid battery and demand network have been shortlisted in the innovation category :
- In December 2016, EvoEnergy won the tender [awarded by the University of Nottingham] for the installation of a battery storage solution that would be an integrated element of Europe’s largest community Energy System [CES].
- Our GridBeyond battery project was installed behind the meter in Chesterfield. This challenging project involved upgrading current HV infrastructure to allow for the Tesla Battery system to be installed in a difficult to access location.
These awards celebrate decentralised energy by showcasing innovation, best practice and achievements across combined heat and power, heat networks, energy efficiency, demand side energy services and integrated energy. This event is now entering its 11th year, the awards provide an opportunity for professionals and organisations from across the growing sector to celebrate success
This years Decentralised Energy Awards 2018 will be held on the 24th October at the Guildhall in London. Best of luck to all the nominees.
